In the name of Cai Mon, “Cai” means a big canal while “Mon” is is referred to Mum which means honey in Khmer. Explaining the origin of this name, locals say that once upon a time, the two banks of the canal in Cai Mon used to have a lot of honey as this region is a land off lush fruits, flowers are blooming all year round. Located in Ben Tre, a little province in the east of Mekong Delta, Cai Mon Orchard Village is not only considered as the kingdom of bonsai but also known as the cradle of fruit crops in Southern Vietnam where you can enjoy tropical fruits in any season of year.
